Leading From Being ("LFB," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by BeingSpaces LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company doing business as Leading From Being. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you visit leadingfrombeing.org (the "Site"), book a session, enroll in a program, or otherwise work with us.

If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or European Economic Area, this Notice also explains your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent UK law.

1. Who We Are

For purposes of GDPR, BeingSpaces LLC is the data controller for personal information collected through the Site and our services.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly:

• Contact details: name, email address, phone number
• Client and session information: intake responses, coaching notes, correspondence, and any information you share during sessions
• Session recordings and transcripts: one-to-one sessions in the Mentorship & Mastermind are transcribed locally on our own computer, without sending the audio to an outside transcription service, so a written Session Summary can be prepared. Transcripts are confidential and are not shared. Community Calls are recorded and made available only to members, through the member portal. The Threshold Salon is held live, and a private audio recording may be kept for research and notes; it is never shared, and nothing you say is quoted or attributed without your permission.
• Birth data for astrological work: date, time, and place of birth. We treat this as sensitive personal information because, combined with your name, it can identify you and reveals information you may consider private. We collect it only to prepare natal chart work and related leadership analysis, and only with your knowledge that this is its purpose.
• Intake and assessment responses: your ratings and written reflections in our Arrival intake (the Seven Capacities and Beingspaces reflections), the scores and profile created from them, and your name and email. While you complete the intake, your answers are saved only in your own browser on your device. They are sent to us when you submit. You can clear them from your device at any time with “Start a new intake on this device.”
• Payment information: processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card number.
• Any information you submit through inquiry or contact forms.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage and device data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring pages) via our hosting platform and analytics tools.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Deliver coaching, mentorship, advisory, and astrology services you've requested
• Schedule and manage sessions
• Process payments and manage your account
• Send you communications you've requested (session logistics, newsletters you've subscribed to, program updates)
• Prepare natal chart and leadership analysis work product
• To prepare your Seven Capacities profile and PDF, send them to you, and use them in our work together, including comparing your responses over time.
• Maintain and improve the Site
• Meet our legal and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your birth data or session content for advertising.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (EU/UK Visitors)

We rely on the following legal bases:

• Contract: to provide services you've booked or purchased
• Consent: for newsletter sign-ups, birth data used in readings, and any optional marketing communications — you can withdraw consent at any time
• Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, and improve the Site and our business, where this doesn't override your rights
• Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law (e.g., tax records)

5. Who We Share Information With

We share information only with service providers who help us operate our business, under obligations to protect your data and use it only for the purpose we've engaged them for:

Social media: We maintain a presence on platforms including LinkedIn and YouTube. If you interact with us there (comments, messages, follows), that platform's own privacy policy governs — this Notice covers leadingfrombeing.org and our direct services only.

AI tools: In the course of our work, we may use AI assistants, including Anthropic's Claude and Google's Gemini, and occasionally OpenAI's ChatGPT, to help draft materials, organize notes, or think through client work. Where this involves client-identifying information, we take reasonable care to limit what is shared and to use these tools' available privacy and data-control settings. We do not use these tools to make automated decisions about you.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it for third parties' own marketing purposes.

6. International Data Transfers

We are a U.S.-based company, and some of our service providers process data in the United States or other countries outside the EU/UK. Where this involves personal information of EU/UK individuals, we rely on the safeguards our providers make available, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or their certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can contact us for more information about a specific provider's safeguards.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information and client information, including intake responses, for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain our business records, and meet legal and tax obligations — generally for the duration of our working relationship plus a reasonable period afterward (typically up to 7 years for financial records, per U.S. tax requirements). You may request earlier deletion as described below, subject to our legal retention obligations.

8. Your Rights

If you are in the EU/UK, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority

Regardless of location, you can exercise these rights by emailing support@leadingfrombeing.org. We will respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days.

Our services are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.
